The Superbowl

After years and years of waiting, the Steelers are back to the Big Game. And hopefully they will win it. After all, they have been playing great football during the last 4 or 5 games. They have been in play-off mode for at least 6 weeks and have beaten all the "best" teams. I'm confident they can pull this one, I'm confident they can win!

But why do I care? Its just a football team. But really for me is a lot more than that. Its a connection to my childhood, a remembrance of the past, a memory, an identity, a symbol of hard work despite not being "the gifted" one.

The Year of the Dog

Today is the first day of the Chinese New Year... and it is the year of the dog. The year when I was born was also the year of the dog, so I guess it is a good sign. If you were born in 1922, 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, or 2006 - you were born under the sign of the dog. Like the dog, you are honest and faithful to those you love, although you also can be somewhat eccentric and very stubborn at times!

We spent most of yesterday having fun with the kids. We took them to the carnival and then to dinner. They were happy and we were glad to spend time with them and watch them grow. They are growing so fast its almost incredible.

70 days to go!!!!

We can't wait!

We are so excited, we can hardly wait... can you imagine, three instead of two. And its going to be sooo different, I know it. Everything is different now...I haven't told you, have I? My wife is pregnant with a little baby girl!!! After our two boys (6 and 3). It is all going to be different now, and we can't wait to meet her... she will start her own "days on earth" soon... We'll see

Saturday

Finally, the weekend is here. Its good to be able to sleep late for a change. We went to have dinner with some friends at one of the other couple's house. We had fun and stayed until 1:00AM... the kids were happy to spend time with friends playing until after midnight, but they were exhausted, that's why we didn't wake up until 10:00 AM today. We will be going to the school's carnival later this afternoon. Family is a beautiful thing.

The begining...

I'm new to this world, the blog world I mean... I don't know where this road will take me, but I want to try... maybe it will take me to fun places.

I'm not a writer but I will try to post often, about... I don't know, we'll see...
